How does it work?
When an intimate relationship is working well, it is an invaluable source of joy, connection, fulfillment and well-being. When it’s not working well, it can be incredibly stressful.
You don’t have to wait until your relationship is in crisis to seek support. Counselling can help with a range of different relationship problems, from navigating and resolving conflict, building intimacy, developing trust, problem-solving, working through stuck-ness and improving communication, among many others.
Counselling provides a supportive space away from the demands of everyday life to invest time and attention into your relationship, helping to get things back on track and moving in a much more positive direction.
Welcoming diversity
Relationships come in all shapes and sizes, and I welcome working with people whatever relationship they find themselves in. This includes but is not limited to forms of non-monogamy, LGBT+ relationships, neurodivergent couples, blended families, and arranged marriages.
Counselling is not about imposing fixed ideas of what a relationship should look like. Instead it is intended to support the flourishing of your own unique relationship into whatever form is most appropriate.

What next?
If you think this is something your relationship could benefit from, feel free to get in touch via phone or email to arrange an initial consultation. This is free of charge and intended as an introduction to see whether we would be a good fit.
If you wanted to continue we would book in an initial course of four weekly sessions, following which we would review progress and discuss options for ongoing support.
Sessions are available at the Heaton Moor Counselling and Therapy Centre on a Monday or Tuesday evening, and online for the rest of the week.
What’s the cost?
Following the initial consultation, the fee for couple’s sessions is £65. Sessions will start weekly but may move to fortnightly or monthly when appropriate to do so.
