Working together to promote healing, recovery & positive mental health

Providing individual counselling and psychotherapy services for adults, working to build effective therapeutic relationships based on compassion, empathy, and unconditional acceptance.

You don’t have to struggle alone

Life is rarely easy or straightforward, and can often throw us challenges that overwhelm us. You don’t have to struggle alone. Knowing when to ask for help and support is a great strength, and therapy is your opportunity to form a supportive relationship with someone who is dedicated to working alongside you to help resolve whatever problems or issues you may be experiencing.

First steps

A chance for us to meet and get to know each other, talk through what you'd like to work on in therapy, and give you the chance to ask any questions you may have.

About Me

For many years now I have been passionate about finding out how to best promote positive mental health, emotional well-being and psychological resilience in myself and those around me.

I love talking to people about their experiences and finding out about who they are, and discovering together with people what it means to be human and be well in a world that can at times be very challenging.

I deeply believe in the healing potentials of compassion, empathy and self-awareness as a means of healing psychological wounds and helping us reach our full potential.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

The initial consultation is free of charge. Sessions following the consultation have a standard fee of £45, with a limited number of low-cost sessions at £30 for people on low incomes.

When we first start working together we'll book an initial course of six sessions to see how you find it. Following that we can continue to work together for as long as its helpful and we're working towards your goals, whether that's over a number of weeks, months or years.

I have a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling (2018) and a Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy (2020).

I'm an accredited member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their ethical framework.

My practice hours are Monday - Thursday daytime and evening.

Due to being a carer for someone with complex health problems, since the the pandemic I have moved my practice online. Online therapy can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy, it just requires that you have somewhere private and quiet to be able to hold a session. For video calls I use Zoom, and I also offer sessions over the phone for those who prefer.
